The Store Manager is a part-time position whose primary responsibility will be to manage and run our retail store on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are looking for a friendly and reliable person with experience in retail and a knowledge of art materials to lead a team of volunteers in all aspects of store operation including opening and closing the store, managing checkout, restocking, customer assistance, accepting donations, and filing our daily accounting reports.

Applicant qualifications include:​

• In-store retail experience.

• Knowledge of art and crafting materials.

• A friendly, outgoing and courteous personality.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of people.

• Reliable with good time management skills.

• An understanding of how to delegate tasks so volunteers
  feel appreciated and respected.

• An understanding of Creative Reuse and a dedication to the mission of Retake/Remake.
   

Responsibilities and Requirements:​

• Efficiently and accurately complete transactions for
  customers using our Square point of sale (POS) system.

• Maintain a safe and organized retail space including after-
  hours cleaning and restocking.

• Accept and input walk-in donations.

• Ability to move and lift materials up to 30 pounds.

• Ability to stand and move around store during the entire day.

• Work with second hand goods that may contain dust and
  unknown allergens.

• Understand our mission and have the ability to communicate
  our organization’s goals to others.
